With the Hunter Coat, we’ve combined the best parts of a topcoat and peacoat into one. Crafted in the USA from Italian melton wool, the unlined jacket has the four-button front, back center vent, and length of a topcoat, but with a high collar, slanted pockets, and back belt detail similar to what you’d find on a peacoat. Added all together, the Hunter is a beautiful, cold-crushing hybrid that’s ready to take on winter’s worst.

The Fabric

Our topcoat / peacoat hybrid is made from a beautiful 4-ply, 100% wool fabric from Italy. Just as tough as the standard naval issue, but with a more luxurious drape and feel, the fabric will wear in, not out, and keep you warm without weighing you down.

The Construction

Opened in 1929, our outerwear factory is one of the oldest - and best - in the country. Using old-world manufacturing techniques that have been honed over decades, the master tailors there create garments that will last a lifetime, and then some.
