One of the most important steps in creating a custom made to measure garment is picking the correct fabric for the occasion. This can often be a daunting process because there are a variety of materials like wool, linen, cotton, seersucker, and silk, and these all have their very own unique properties. We do things differently here at CMMP. We curate every single fabric that's in our showrooms. Great whiskey & fine tailoring come together at the W Philadelphia for our ongoing series - Tailoring & Tastings. Each event we dive deep into the world of whisky and curate a special tasting. For the the kick off event we enjoyed The Singleton of Glendullan 12 year single malt hosted by Diageo's Raul Marin. This single malt from The Singleton carried notes of luscious brown sugar, soft cooked apples, and creamy toffee. Iconic American Architect, Philip Johnson, constructed the The Glass House in 1949 and lived there until his death in 2005. The Glass House has become a must visit place for anyone interested in modern and postmodern architecture in the US.
