Behind the Seams: Mike Ski of True Hand Society

Posted by Craig Schroeder on

Tattoos have long been a part of the DNA here at CMMP, and especially those tattoos from longtime friend of the brand, Mike Ski of True Hand Society. We've been collaborating with artists over the years to create custom linings so working with Mike was a natural collaboration for us to integrate his signature tattoo style into our garments. The new series of 6 linings feature his hand drawn icons that can be commissioned to line any suit, blazer or jacket.  CMMP: How did you get your start in tattooing? How did that passion turn your tattoo business into a full graphic...

The Kensington Car Club: End of Summer Drive

Posted by Craig Schroeder on

The Kensington Car Club, created by our very own Aaron Pierce, is more than just a car club. It's not your cars & coffee type of car club, members actually take to the roads and drive their cars like they should be driven. In the waning days of summer, the club headed to Victory Brewing to show off their new engine upgrades and one member, founder Aaron Pierces, his new Audi S4.  Enjoy the views from this last drive.

Focusing on the work of George Nakashima, Moderne Gallery became known as one of...

The Kensington Car Club, created by our very own Aaron Pierce, is more than just a car club. It's not your cars & coffee type of car club, members actually take to the roads and drive their cars like they should be driven. For the first meet of the summer, members met at the Triumph Brewing Company in the town of New Hope.  In a crowd full of German cars, a Subaru WRX STI S209 was a very welcomed newcomer. This car was actually a pre-production model which meant it number 000-209, which made it even more rare. After moments of admiring all the cars, we...

The Man Bringing Textile Manufacturing Back to the US: Jacob Long of American Woolen

Posted by Craig Schroeder on

So often when talking about menswear you associate quality men's products with the term "Made in Italy" because you know Italy has a high quality of craftsmanship and production. We are trying to change that association and bring back the "Made in the USA" label because we believe we can get the same quality and craftsmanship here in the States while also helping to revive an industry that has since tumbled.  Our goal is to create Made in the USA products with as much components of that garment made here, but that has proven tough over the years because the...
