The "Mac Raincoat" has its origins in the name of its Scottish inventor, Charles Macintosh. In 1823 he patented a coat made with a waterproof fabric that he had invented. With their 3/4 length, Mac Raincoats had many applications, including horseback riding, use in the army and police and even for explorers. We build a slick, modern version using a black satin waterproof fabric. It has a little stretch and a lot of polish, great over a tux and for city nights out.
